Dr. Sherea M. Lloyd, Founder of EdConnect Solutions, has over a decade of experience with academic communities in education, leadership and consulting, engaging directly with diverse stakeholders and executives. Proven success in program management, driving partnerships, teamwork, building and maintaining relationships, and proposing new and innovative strategic initiatives.
Sherea’s doctoral research, focused heavily on novice teachers and Culturally Responsive Teaching, sparked a desire to create EdConnect Solutions. Driven by her passion for developing teachers and leaders, and her aspiration to connect educators, Sherea wanted to ensure institutional success by connecting organizations to those who can provide the support educators need to serve their most underserved populations.
Sherea’s mission is to connect people who would mutually benefit each other by providing a network of exceptional individuals. Her experience has given her the unique ability to support clients by purposefully aligning their organizational needs with the people to support and carry out their vision. As a consultant Sherea’s goal is to leave people and teams better than she finds them: more encouraged, better equipped, and in a better position to win!
Sherea holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida A&M University in Health Care Management. She also received a Master's degree from Florida State University in Elementary Education. Additionally, she earned a Doctorate in Higher Education from Clark Atlanta University.
Sherea was raised in a family of HBCU graduates and is the granddaughter of two educators, where her passion for education was first sparked as a young child by observing her grandmother as a teacher and her grandfather as a principal. Sherea is originally from Dallas, Texas, and now resides in Atlanta, GA. Outside of professional interests, she enjoys travel, working out, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was cast on CBS’s Survivor: China (Season 15).
